I am currently studying for the above diploma which is set to finish in June 2009 . I expect to receive my results in September 2009.

Argus Evening Newspaper May 2003 – October 2006

During my time at the Argus newspaper I was responsible for delivering their newspapers six days a week. During this time I had to deliver the evening paper to a list of houses before 6pm from Monday to Friday and before 12pm every Saturday. I had a very good relationship with the customers. During the time I delivered the papers I was never late once and the customers and I exchanged Christmas cards every year.

Woolworths October 2006 – January 2007

Temporary Contract
My duties as a sale assistant with Woolworths included ensuring that the shelves were fully stocked and kept neat and tidy. This entailed making a detailed note of what was needed, collecting the same from the storage rooms and replenishing as and when necessary. . I also worked on the till handling cash and credit card payments. My interaction with customers required me to be both polite and courteous and sometimes under difficult circumstances.

Card Factory September 2007 – July 2008

Permanent Part time contract
Whilst working for Card Factory I had to stock up on various cards which included re filling empty slots and identifying and replacing sale sections of cards with the most recent promotion.I I also helped with deliveries which involved unloading pallets and taking boxes up to the stock room and placing in specific parts of the stock room such as Christmas cards and novelties to the seasonal stock room. On the weekends i worked on the tills were i would be handling cash and card payments and dealing with customers enquiries. This was a very busy shop ensuring that customers were served promptly and enquiries answered efficiently – this could at times be very challenging especially during the festive season.

DMH Stallard Solicitors March 2007 – August 2008

Flexible Contract working ad hoc – as and when required
During my time working with DMH Stallard I undertook various tasks as required. For the most part I worked within the IT Section. During their rebranding and change of house style I was responsible for handling files with personal and confidential documents, reformatting them and uploading them onto their system.
I also worked with the Real Estate Team where I was responsible for looking at the accounts history on individual matters to ensure all financial balances were clear, obtain sign off from the Solicitor concerned and thereafter close the matter on the system.
During my evenings with DMH Stallard I helped the IT Department with the move to bigger offices and install the system on the computers.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with DMH – I particularly liked the Team working environment and the fact that I was learning something new every day. I was told that my communication skills were excellent and I was extremely competent in passing on information.

McDonalds Restaurant July 2008 – Present

Permanent part time contractI am still currently working for the restaurant where I am mostly on the tills. I handle peoples’ food and drinks and also large amounts of cash and credit card payments. Whilst working there I prepare and cook food, clean the lobby area and stock up on food boxes and sauces. I also make sure before every shift and after breaks my hands are fully cleansed to start work.
